At Aqua Bamboo Waikiki, we have been able to do more than just talk about being green, we’re doing it. In just one short year, we were able to lessen our environmental impact in the following important ways…
- Conserved more than 15,771 gallons of water
- Saved more than 7 cubic yards of waste from the landfill
- Stopped more than 135 pounds pollution from going into the air
- Kept more than 9,240 kilowatt-hours of energy from being used

Recognized for environmental leadership in the hospitality industry, our green hotel was recognized on March 22, 2010, with a “Hawaii Green Business Award” that was later presented to us by Hawaii’s own Lieutenant Governor Duke Aiona.
